Contact Youth Counselling are active members of a number of important networks such as The Telephone Help lines Association, British Association Of Counselling and Psychotherapy, The Children’s Law Centre, Include Youth, Northern Ireland Council for Voluntary Action and the Trauma Recovery Network.

As members of BACP all our counsellors, staff and Board agree to work within it’s ethical framework which can be downloaded from the BACP website at                                            .

What this means in practice is that we will always attempt to act with the utmost of integrity and will not bring the field of counselling into disrepute.  We will challenge unethical counselling practice wherever and whenever we encounter it and will always strive to give the best possible service to children and young people within NI.

We have very detailed guidelines of behaviour for all our counsellors based on the BACP ethical guidelines.
